A Quanzhou University Student’s Journey to Connect Twice and Make Lifelong Friends

Hello there! My name is Li Wei, and I’m a university student at Xiamen University, currently based in Quanzhou, a beautiful city on the southeast coast of China. As someone who has always been fascinated by the vibrant social life and diverse cultural experiences, I’ve decided to share my journey of making connections and building lasting friendships through the platform of 2friend. Whether you’re also a student, a professional, or just someone looking for meaningful connections, I hope my story will inspire you to reach out and create your own special bonds.

Quanzhou, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, has a lot to offer. From ancient temples to modern shopping malls, the city is a blend of old and new, providing endless opportunities to explore and learn. One of my favorite spots in Quanzhou is the Potting Bench, a small but charming garden where I often spend my free time. The peaceful atmosphere and lush greenery make it a perfect place to relax and connect with nature. It’s not just a garden; it’s a community hub where people gather to share stories and build friendships.

As a university student, my daily routine is filled with classes, assignments, and extracurricular activities. However, I always make time for hobbies and socializing. I enjoy playing basketball, reading books, and exploring the local food scene. One of my fondest memories is when I joined a volunteer group to help clean up the city’s beaches. Not only did we make a positive impact on the environment, but we also formed a strong bond as a team. These moments remind me that true connections are built through shared experiences and mutual interests.

Beyond my academic and social life, I am passionate about photography and travel. Whenever I have a break from my studies, I grab my camera and hit the road to capture the beauty of Quanzhou and its surroundings. The city’s historical sites, such as the Qingjing Mosque and Kaiyuan Temple, are truly awe-inspiring. Capturing these moments not only enriches my personal album but also gives me the chance to share the beauty of Quanzhou with friends and family back home.

Through 2friend, I have met many interesting people from different walks of life. Each conversation has been a learning experience, and each friendship has added a new dimension to my life. Whether it’s discussing our shared love for technology, exchanging cooking recipes, or simply having a good laugh, these interactions remind me of the power of human connection.

Join me in this exciting journey of connecting twice and making lifelong friends. Let’s support each other, share our stories, and create a network of kindness and understanding. If you’re in Quanzhou or any other part of China, feel free to reach out. I’d love to meet you and explore the possibilities of friendship together.
