Hello, everyone! I’m Alex, a second-year student at Qingdao University, and I’m excited to share a bit about my life here and connect with new friends on 2friend.

Qingdao is a beautiful coastal city known for its stunning beaches, historic architecture, and vibrant culture. Being here has been an incredible experience, and I’m always eager to explore new places and meet interesting people. My major is Computer Science, which keeps me busy with challenging projects and assignments, but I always find time for my hobbies.

One of my favorite hobbies is gardening. I recently started growing Peperomia quadrifolia, a small, ornamental plant with unique four-leafed patterns. It’s not only aesthetically pleasing but also easy to care for, making it perfect for a busy student like me. Caring for plants brings me a sense of peace and connects me to nature, which is essential for maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Beyond academics and gardening, I love exploring the city. Qingdao has so much to offer, from its famous beer street to the scenic boardwalks along the coast. I often go for runs or bike rides to enjoy the fresh sea air and the picturesque views. On weekends, I try to visit different cafes and restaurants to taste the local cuisine, which is a delightful mix of seafood and traditional Chinese dishes.
