Life in Tangshan: A Student’s Perspective
Hi there, fellow adventurers! My name is Zhang Wei, and I am a third-year Computer Science student at North China University of Science and Technology in Tangshan, China. I have always been passionate about technology and innovation, which led me to pursue this degree. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking in the nearby mountains, and exploring the city's hidden gems. Tangshan is a beautiful city with a rich history, and I feel lucky to call it my home during my university years.
Recently, I've been involved in a research project that focuses on pesticide usage in agricultural settings. Our team is working on developing more sustainable and environmentally friendly methods to control pests, while also ensuring food safety. It's been a challenging but rewarding experience, and I have learned so much from my professors and peers. We recently published our findings in a local journal, and I hope to share more insights soon.
One of the things I love most about being a university student is the opportunity to meet new people and build lasting friendships. Tangshan has a vibrant and diverse community, and I have made some amazing friends here. From late-night study sessions to weekend get-togethers, we have created countless memories together. However, I'm always looking to expand my social circle and connect with like-minded individuals who share my interests and values.
If you're interested in technology, sustainability, or just want to chat about life in Tangshan, feel free to reach out to me. I’m open to collaborating on projects, discussing ideas, or simply sharing experiences. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or just someone who enjoys learning, I believe we can find common ground and build a strong connection. Connect twice, friend forever with 2friend!
