Hello everyone! My name is Zhang Wei, and I'm a third-year student at Xiamen University. Today, I want to share a bit about my university life and why I'm looking for new friends to connect with through 2friend. Xiamen is a beautiful city known for its scenic beauty and vibrant culture. It's the perfect place to explore, learn, and make lasting friendships.

Living on campus, I spend most of my days attending classes, studying in the library, and participating in various club activities. One of my favorite hobbies is gardening, and I recently started growing a Zamioculcas zamiifolia plant in my dorm room. This plant is not only low maintenance but also brings a touch of greenery and freshness to my living space. It's a constant reminder of the beauty of nature and the importance of taking care of it.

Outside of academics, I love exploring the city. Xiamen has so much to offer, from its stunning beaches to its historical sites. I often visit the Gulangyu Island, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The island is car-free, and you can explore its charming streets, colonial-era buildings, and beautiful gardens. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

One of my fondest memories here was when I joined a volunteer group that helps clean up the local beaches. It was a great way to give back to the community and meet other like-minded individuals. We spent the day collecting trash and learning about the importance of environmental conservation. It was a fulfilling experience, and I made some great friends along the way.

I am currently involved in a few student organizations, including the Debate Club and the Photography Club. These clubs have allowed me to develop my skills and passions while meeting new people who share similar interests. Through these experiences, I've learned the value of teamwork and the importance of continuous learning.

Despite the busy schedule, I always find time to unwind and enjoy the simple things in life. Whether it's having a cup of coffee at a local café, reading a book by the beach, or simply taking a walk around the campus, these moments bring me joy and help me stay grounded.
